What is a “warung”? 

In Indonesia, the word “warung” translates to a small business or stall. A warung is often a tiny, family-run shop or café found in cities and villages. It is typically modest in design, with simple seating and a welcoming setting. 

One of the many things to do in Bali is to experience the heart of Indonesian Cuisine and daily life. Warungs reflect Indonesia’s communal culture, where locals and tourists gather for affordable, authentic food.
