Amed & Tulamben Snorkeling Safari Tour

Overview

With a minimum booking of 2 persons, we will pick you up early in the morning at 07:00 am for a full day of snorkeling safari on the Bali tour, exploring USAT Liberty shipwreck at Tulamben Beach and Amed Beach.

Our first stop will be at Amed, a small village clustered around a single road that circles the sheltered bay. This calm bay has little current, and the snorkeling sites are accessible directly from the beach. Amed, or Jemeluk Bay, is home to incredibly diverse marine life, making Bali snorkeling a real treat. Expect to find Parrot Fish, Angel Fish, Bat Fish, Moorish Idols, Snappers, and more.

Next, we will drive to Tulamben Beach for lunch. Afterward, we will take a walk of about 200 meters on the beach, where our snorkel guide will point out the world-famous USAT Liberty shipwreck. This unique site allows you to look just 3 meters down and see substantial remains of the wreck that has been underwater for over 50 years. No snorkeler can fail to be impressed by the schooling jackfish that make the wreck their home. Watching the fish swim in a huge circle that moves backward and forward over the wreck is a breathtaking experience and a great photo opportunity.
