Discover Maluku Kei Island Tour

Duration: 8 Days

Overview

The Kei Islands (also spelled Kai Islands) are a beautiful island group in the southeastern part of the Maluku Islands, Indonesia. Known for their peaceful atmosphere and untouched nature, the Kei Islands Maluku are home to some of the region’s most stunning tropical coastlines. Many travelers visit the Kei Island region for its soft white sand, turquoise waters, and relaxed island life far from crowded tourist destinations.

One of the biggest highlights of the Kei Islands is the coastline, where visitors can discover some of the most beautiful beaches in the Maluku Islands. Ngurbloat Beach, for example, is famous for its incredibly fine white sand and calm crystal-clear water. The surrounding sea is also rich in marine life, making the islands an excellent place to experience snorkeling and diving around Maluku.

The Kai Islands consist mainly of two large islands: Kei Kecil and Kei Besar, along with several smaller islands scattered across the sea. Located between Papua and Australia, the islands remain relatively untouched due to their remote location. For travelers willing to make the journey, the Kei Islands Maluku offer a rare chance to enjoy pristine beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and authentic island culture in one of Indonesia’s most underrated destinations.
