Overview

Nusa Penida is the largest and most exotic of the 3 Nusa islands, thanks to its collection of unique Hindu temples and picturesque natural features of cliff formations and lagoons. More recently, the island became best known as the new sanctuary of the once-endangered Bali starling (originally an endemic species from the forested region of West Bali National Park) following a highly successful captive breeding program. Nusa Penida measures over 200 sq km – significantly larger than the popular Nusa Lembongan and its accessible sister island, Nusa Ceningan. Lesser-travelled compared to the other 2, Nusa Penida has a very limited number of hotels and tourist features. Even so, what it lacks in infrastructure, it makes up for with unspoiled natural beauty and rare cultural highlights.

Close to Penida’s white-sand beach of Crystal Bay, divers enjoy one of Bali’s best dive sites, where pristine coral reefs and Mola mola fish (also known as oceanic sunfish), manta rays and even whale sharks are among the seasonal sights. Besides diving in Nusa Penida, you can also find great visibility for snorkelling right near the shoreline. Some local shops selling refreshments right on the beach make for wonderful chill-out spots with sunset views. Among Penida’s most famous temples is Goa Giri Putri, a Balinese Hindu temple set within a limestone cave in the village of Karangsari. It sees a steady flow of pilgrims from the Bali mainland visiting to pay their respects and ask for holy water and blessings.

The grand temple complex of Pura Penataran Ped in the northern coastal village of Ped is another popular monument to visit. There are other temples dotted along the island’s coast but be sure to visit the unique Pura Paluang temple in the village of Karangdawa on Penida’s southwestern cliffs – it has shrines resembling automobiles!

Crystal Bay is the name of a secluded cove with a 200-meter stretch of sand on the west coast of Nusa Penida Island. Despite its isolation, the bay is quite accessible thanks to well-developed roads. Besides its beautiful palm-fringed beach, the bay is best known as one of Nusa Penida’s famous snorkeling and dive sites.
We invite you to enjoy the new experience of snorkeling on the island of Nusa Penida, a beautiful remote island just south east of Bali. We will sail around almost half of the island to get to our different snorkeling destinations of SD & Ped point, Gamat Bay, and Manta bay.
if you are lucky, you will have the chance to see Manta Rays and Dolphins.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Sanur Beach – Nusa Penida Island by Speed Boat- Star Semabu Hotel/Deluxe Ocean View

Pick up from your hotel in Kuta ,Nusa Dua and Sanur area for speed boat to Nusa Penida .Upon arrival transfer to your hotel for overnight .

Day 2 : Secret Nusa Penida Island Tour (B,L)

Pick up with our English speaking driver and take you to visit the most popular secret beach on the island.

First stop will be at Kelingking Beach; Visiting Kelingking viewpoint is one of the most famous things to do on Nusa Penida. The 200-meter high drop down overlooking the T-rex head and the beach is just mind blowing.

Near the shore, the waves are swim-able during calmer tides with crystal-clear waters, hence its name. Divers praise the superb visibility, sometimes down to 30 meters.

Day 3 : Nusa Penida Snorkeling Safari (B,L)

We invite you to enjoy the new experience of snorkeling on the island of Nusa Penida, a beautiful remote island just south east of Bali. We will take a special traditional boat (Jukung) to do our snorkeling safari. We will sail around almost half of the island to get to our different snorkeling destinations of SD & Ped point, Gamat Bay, and Manta Point. Nusa Penida beautiful marine life, coral reefs and diverse fish will amaze you on your snorkeling safari.
You will also see fabulous mountain scenery, stunning cliffs and enjoy beautiful sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, which are very comfortable to sunbathe and relax on. And if you are lucky, you will have the chance to see Manta Rays and Dolphins. Your delicious lunch will be served at a beachside restaurant. Back to your hotel for overnight .

Day 4 : Nusa Penida –Speed boat transfer to Sanur , Bali (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer by Speed boat for return to Bali. Upon arrival in Sanur transfer to your hotel in Kuta,Nusa Dua and Sanur for overnight .End of service
